Powerful, Long-Lasting OHVI Engine

The Generac OHVI (Overhead Valve Industrial) engine is the only engine designed specifically for generator use. Generators are often required to run for hours at a time, or even day after day. Engines adapted from other applications can overheat and may have shorter lifespans. It offers advanced heat reduction technology such as plateau-honed cylinders that lessen break-in time, plasma moly ring seals that help to keep excess oil out of the cylinder, and graphite piston inserts that provide a smoother surface for the piston to move against--all helping to contribute to a significantly longer engine life.

Maintenance costs are reduced with a spin-on automotive-style oil filter that's larger than a standard filter, catching more particles so oil stays cleaner for a longer amount of time. Service intervals are up to twice as long as competitive engines, approximately 2 years or 200 hours of operation.

The UWS 75-gallon combo transfer tank is a storage solution for working pickup trucks that is designed to simultaneously transport non-flammable liquids,* and tools. The UWS product line of TT-combo transfer tanks is a combined liquid and tool storage solution for working pickup trucks that also maximizes the efficient use of cargo capacity in truck beds. The TT-75-combo features a 75-gallon L-shaped transfer tank, with a 11.0 cubic-foot tool chest welded to the inner section of the tank's L-shape. Together the two pieces' form a rectangular shape measuring 48" (l) x 27" (w) x 24" (h). The transfer tank section of the TT-75-combo is suitable for transporting non-potable water and non-flammable liquids,* including diesel fuel, to work sites, and farm locations. The tank is constructed of rugged and corrosion-resistant .125" gauge aluminum with raised treadplate texture, and features welded seams throughout. There are two threaded holes along the tank's top. One of these is for a commercial-grade tank cap (included), which serves to both secure the contents of the tank, while also relieving the build-up of pressure within it. Relief of pressure is important when the tank is used to transport diesel fuel, which is combustable under pressure. (The tank should never be connected to a vehicle's fuel system for use as an auxiliary tank, and it is not suitable for safe use in transporting gasoline) The second threaded hole is designed to accept a variety of pump types (sold separately), which can be used to conveniently dispense liquids. The internal structure of the tank contains baffles to minimize sloshing of liquid contents when a vehicle is in motion, while a drain plug at the driver's side allows for easy flushing of the tank.

You'll get up to 8 hours of run time (at 50 percent) from a 4-gallon tank of fuel.

With the electric start, it's as simple to get this generator going as turning on your car. And if the battery isn't fully charged, you can use the single-pull recoil cord to start the generator.

The fully loaded power panel features the main controls, including RV switch, engine shutoff switch, volt meter, and circuit breaker. It offers two 120-volt, 20-amp, 3-prong outlets and one 120/240-volt, 30-amp twist-lock outlet (all NEMA Certified).
